{"id":22931,"date":"2024-10-07T14:12:30","date_gmt":"2024-10-07T14:12:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/chitungwiza\/?page_id=22931"},"modified":"2024-10-07T14:12:31","modified_gmt":"2024-10-07T14:12:31","slug":"health-information-department","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cch.gov.zw\/?page_id=22931","title":{"rendered":"Health Information Department"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><u>WHO ARE WE?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The department comprises of the following;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Health information officer-Head of Department<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health information Assistants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clerks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>OBJECTIVES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The department maintains the hospitals daily data flows and aligns itself with the hospitals overall objective of providing quality health to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>WHAT DO WE DO?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coding of discharged patients according to their diagnosis as indicated on the front sheet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data capturing of patients data i.e. demographic data, date of admission diagnosis etc. in the hospitals data base<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeping records of patients admitted, discharged, transferred to other hospitals and deceased on a daily basis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistics \u2013Analyzing raw data and converting it into useful information, daily,weekly,monthly,quarterly and annually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Issuing of birth confirmation of every child born at the hospital to access a birth certificate.it is a right of every child to have a birth certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeping of patients investigation results<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring that each patient or client maintains as single record in the admission data base<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Filling and retrieving of files.
